Civil society consultation ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action

Co-convened by the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia and the Beijing+30 Civil Society Steering Committee, the civil society consultations aim to gather insights and recommendations that will inform the regional review process ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action.

The first meeting will take place on May 30, 2024, from 11:00 to 14:00 (Istanbul time – GMT +3). Please register here. The draft agenda is attached.

The meeting will contextualize the Beijing +30 anniversary in regional efforts to achieve gender equality and create a space for discussion on:

  • Inclusive development, shared prosperity, and decent work;
  • Poverty eradication, social protection, and social services.
