The workshop "Preventing Online Radicalism"

On September 18-24, 2022, a working meeting "Prevention of Online Radicalism" was held in Georgia. Participants of the meeting were experts and non-governmental sector representatives from Germany, France, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and the North Caucasus.

The participants discussed the following topics: prevention of radicalism among young people, problems of religious extremism and terrorism. At the seminar, various approaches to online radicalization prevention, the best practices, and challenges that exist in this area were discussed.

The participants presented their recommendations upon the topics. The workshop "Preventing Online Radicalism" is part of a two-year project of the German Institute for Political Narratives. The workshop was held with the support of the German government and in partnership with the Women's Information Center.
