GENDER VIOLENCE
The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative- search and investigative activities detained O.A. (DoB 1938) for premeditated murder committed against family member under aggravating circumstances.
Committed crime envisages from 12 to 17 years or lifetime imprisonment
Investigation established that detainee inflicted injury with a cold steel to his spouse- N.A. (DoB 1933) who died as at the place of crime a result of the sustained traumas. The incident occurred in detainee’s house located in Tetritskari municipality. The weapon of crime was seized by police as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed against family member under aggravating circumstances, article 109 11, part II, sub-paragraph “F” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
