Police detained one person for committing an act of sexual character against juvenile

The officers of Khashuri police division under Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained R.M. (DoB 1966) in Khashuri for other act of sexual nature

The committed crime envisages from 11 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that detainee, with prior knowledge, committed an act of sexual character against a juvenile residing near to his house.

Investigation is in progress under Article 138, Part 3, Sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies other act of sexual character.
