The first case of coronavirus infection revealed in South Ossetia

In South Ossetia, the first case of coronavirus infection was detected in a man who entered the republic on April 30 from the Russian Federation.

"He was in quarantine, after which he had a fever, a test was carried out and it turned out to be positive, the man was isolated in a separate box in the infectious diseases hospital," said the chief sanitary doctor Marina Kochieva at a headquarters meeting.

She has emphasized that all security measures are being taken, everyone with whom he contacted will be isolated.

Kochieva has, cadets of Russian universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ryazan arrived in Tskhinval. A group of cadets was brought to the Republic in connection with the early completion of the school year in military universities because of the coronavirus.

Upon arrival in South Ossetia, all cadets are quarantined for 14 days in medical facilities of the Health Ministry.
