GENDER VIOLENCE
The officers of Isani-Samgori police division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of investigative activities detained K.M. (DoB 1976) in Tbilisi for domestic violence against the family member.
Investigation established that detainee physically assaulted his spouse- R.K. (DoB 1980) in presence of their under-aged child.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of domestic violence against the family member, committed in presence of under-aged child, article 1261 , II part, sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code.
